My teaching methodology can be characterised by the following: fun, patient, custom. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. For example, for children with a lot of extra energy at the end of the day, I will often have them do some star jumps midway through a session; but children who are already quite tired, I will engage them in more fun activities or active ways of learning.
I have been tutoring on and off for six years, including groups and one-to-one classes, across a variety of subjects. I recently graduated my undergraduate degree with a 2:1 in Politics & International Relations. The highlight of my tutoring career so far has been helping an ESOL KS1 student to learn to read over the course of a year.
