About Matthew
As a recent graduate i still vividly remember having difficulty with my classes. Im not here to judge you but to help you comprehend and excel. I have a Masters in Education and a bachelors in History so I am certain I can help you wherever you need it. My goal is to ensure that you dont just remember what you learn but understand it.

In myexperience, the best kind of lesson is broken into three components. A lecture intorducing the subject matter. Once the students have taken their notes I will invite them to get into groups. I will then assign them quesions to make them think on the subject. For example "Why did the spanish American war start and do you think it was justified?" I will then end the lesson with a video to recap the subject. I believe that students need to be active particicpants in the lesson or they will not retain what I teach them. My lessons are designed typically from students in the middle to high school level. Ibelieve I can also tutuor undergrad college students in most historical areas.
