About Nikolai
With more than 14 years of experience as a Drum tutor, I specialize in training college students from beginner to intermediate levels. I focus on building strong rhythm foundations and confident playing skills. My teaching approach is based on creativity, critical thinking, and mentorship.
I help students understand how rhythms work rather than memorizing patterns. This helps them adapt to different styles and improve faster. I use innovative methods such as slow-tempo practice, groove variations, and song-based learning. I also include timing challenges and coordination drills to improve accuracy and control.
