About Deborah
I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with CECE Ontario College of ECE's and have over 15+ yrs experience teaching full-time JK/SK in a private school setting.
I became a certified Brain Gym Teacher-Consultant so I could support young learners in a fun, relaxed, and meaningful way. When learning is combined with movement, children are often better able to stay focused, absorb new information, and develop stronger understanding.
I blend Brain Gym movement activities into my sessions to support attention, confidence, and readiness to learn.
I specialize in helping young children build strong early literacy skills and take a gentle, encouraging approach to create calm, engaging online lessons that are thoughtfully tailored to your child’s individual learning needs and pace.
My goal is not only to help your child learn to read and write, but to help them enjoy learning.
I truly understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the person supporting their child’s learning. I work closely with families and keep parents informed about progress, strengths, and next steps, so you can feel confident that your child is supported every step of the way.

I specialize in working with young children who need extra support with early literacy skills, such as learning the English alphabet, beginning reading and writing skills, and how to communicate with confidence.
I combine fun, age-appropriate Brain Gym movement activities with my tutoring sessions, to help children stay focused, relaxed, and ready to learn. This whole-child approach supports attention, memory, and confidence in learning. My goal is to help children reach their full learning potential in a positive and encouraging online environment.
