About Ismelda
Sobre mí
¡Hola!

About Me
¡Hola! My name is Ismelda, and I’m a proud Dominican American, born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the United States from a young age. When I first came to America, all I knew was Spanish. Like many immigrants, I had to learn English from the ground up and navigate the challenges of adapting to a new language and culture.
Because I’ve experienced firsthand what it feels like to learn a new language, I understand the challenges, frustrations, and insecurities that can come with the process. Today, I use my bilingual background and personal experience to help Spanish speakers bridge the gap between Spanish and English.
I’ve been in your shoes, and I’m here to help you succeed. ¡Vamos a aprender inglés juntos!
