About Michael
I am a teacher, artist, and writer from the U.S. I lived in Ecuador for 10 years, and am currently living in Penang, Malaysia. I taught elementary and high school classes in Waldorf schools in the U.S., mentored and taught teachers in the U.S., Ecuador, China, and Malaysia.

My focus is on helping you to find the meaningfulness and beauty of the English language through reading and discussion of classical literature. In regard to spelling and grammar, you would learn rules, write, have assignments, and discuss the material. I am a teacher with 40+ years of experience. My classes last for 1-1.5 hours, depending on the class and age of student.
