About Tiffany
I hold an active LCSW inthe state of New Mexico. I graduated from USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work in 2018 and have most of my experience working in-patient at a psychiatric unit and doing outpatient individual and group therapy. I am also EMDR trained and certified. In addition, I have 1 year of experience in hospice. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom and hope to serve children as mine grow and enter the school system.
When I was in my Bachelors of Science program at the University of Arizona, I enjoyed tutoring students from all walks of life. My specialty as a tutor there and moving forward is to teach solid study skills and time management so others can feel empowered and confident to achieve their academic goals. Throughout the lifespan, human interaction of all kinds can be challenging and intimidating! I offer training in social skills, communication, and assertiveness. For these lessons, we'll develop a gameplan together and discuss goals. We can utilize role-play scenarios and interactions to practice various social skills.
I also tutor "general" topics by helping to build study plans, encourage positive study habits, and hold students accountable to their study goals. I can help research, teach, or assist in writing papers. My experience is working with college students with ADD/ADHD who struggle with time management. My profession is Social Work (LCSW) with a specialty in adult mental health.
