About Lindsey
Growing up I was never excited about math or science and I wasn’t particularly good at it either. It wasn’t until I had a great teacher my freshman year of high school that I developed a passion for physics and math and realized by changing a few things in my study habits I could be great at it too. I decided to go into aerospace engineering and I haven’t looked back since. I love what I do, but I understand how hard it can be to develop a good relationship with math and science if it hasn’t come naturally. I hope to inspire my students the same way my teacher inspired me to be the best I can be. Not every student will learn to love the STEM field and choose a science based path- and that’s ok! I just hope that your time with me makes your classes just a little more bearable and of course, I guarantee you will learn so much!

I will structure every lesson around you! Tell me what I can do to help you succeed and we will do it! If you don’t know, no problem- we will figure out what works best together! I believe in doing examples together and slowly working up to doing it yourself. I also like to explain why topics are relevant and try to relate it to real world situations as I feel it makes it more fun and easier to understand.
