About Ayasha

Hi! I’m Ayasha, a Year 12 student interested in studying law and commerce, potentially specialising in corporate or commercial law. I enjoy helping students build confidence and improve their learning through clear explanations and personalised support.

I’ve been actively involved in the Indonesian community as an MC and event host, coordinating cultural events and fundraising activities. These experiences have helped me develop leadership, communication, and organisational skills. I also have experience working with younger children through babysitting.

I enjoy sports, travelling, creative projects, and learning languages, and I like helping others succeed both in school and in life.

About the lesson

My tutoring focuses on clear explanations, patience, and personalised learning. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals and learning style, breaking down difficult concepts step-by-step while also developing problem-solving skills, exam strategies, and study habits.

I adapt my teaching depending on age and needs. For younger students, lessons are interactive and engaging to keep them motivated. For older students, I focus on exam preparation and building independent study skills. I also have experience with younger children through babysitting, which has helped me communicate clearly and patiently with different ages.

Lessons typically run 60 minutes, but can be adjusted. A lesson may include reviewing schoolwork, explaining challenging concepts, practising questions, and preparing for assessments.

I Tutor:

Maths – up to Year 9 (I recieved high 90s in VCE Mathematical Methods and General Maths)

Business Management – up to Year 11 (Units 1 & 2) (subject award recipient, highest grades in cohort)

Lessons are available online or in person within 10km of Croydon.

I just couldn't thank Ayasha enough! Thank you so much for helping my child with math as he struggled for a bit, but with your patience and devotion, he is able to get higher scores on test exams. In high hopes for a good score on the real exam. Thank you so much again. Much recommended to all.

Ayasha has helped my year 7 daughter become confident in maths. Tutoring is now something she looks foward to every week as Ayasha has built a friendly connection with my daughter and remaining paitient she explains a concept in multiple ways if my daughter is still unsure shes lovely to work with I would highly recommend.

I couldn’t be happier with the support Ayasha has given my child in maths. My son is in year 3 and she was incredibly patient, encouraging, and took the time to really understand how he learns best. From the very beginning, they got along very well, which helped my child feel comfortable asking questions and trying new problems without fear of getting things wrong. Because of her approach, my child’s confidence in maths has grown so much, and we’ve seen real improvement in both understanding and results at school.

My daughter was struggling at the beginning of Year 7 as she started new subjects and entered a new environment, and having Ayasha as a tutor really helped gain more confidence and find a way to approach challenges positively. Ayasha patiently followed her throughout the tutoring and I can definitely see the change that has occurred in the way my daughter now studies and faces difficulties.
