About Louis
I've always loved science, though I initially struggled with the math in chemistry. By practicing as many example questions as possible, I conquered challenging topics like titrations and balancing equations. This dedication eventually led me to represent my country in the International Chemistry Olympiad as a high school student, and that boosted my confidence in both learning and doing science, especially chemistry and biology.

My tutoring philosophy centers on a patient, step-by-step approach, where I explain scientific concepts thoroughly and reinforce learning through numerous practice examples. I believe a key to true understanding is the ability to articulate what you've learned; therefore, I will encourage students to paraphrase scientific ideas, allowing them to explain complex topics in their own words. This not only deepens their comprehension but also strengthens their long-term memory, a method I believe will truly differentiate my teaching style. I am enthusiastic about working with students at all levels, from middle school to high school and college.
