About Bianca
Hello, I recently wrapped up teaching Integrated Humanities in a beautiful inquiry-based school in Bangkok, Thailand, using the International Baccalaureate framework. I mainly pay attention to:
- trauma-informed education
- anti-oppression
My comprehensive training with Steiner senior mentors from the United States and New Zealand gave me a solid foundation in holistic child development. Being a news writer in Rappler enriched my worldview as well, especially challenging stigma and safeguarding press freedom. It brings me great fulfillment to design learning experiences in a reconstructionist lens.

I prioritize student-centered learning and have been successful based on my students' feedback. My goal is not simply to memorize information, but to think critically and connect what they are learning to the world around them.
With 11 years of teaching experience, I have taught in international schools across three Southeast Asian countries, working with students, families, and colleagues from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. I have taught through Steiner, Montessori, Cambridge, and International Baccalaureate curricula, which has given me the flexibility to adapt my approach to different learners rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method.
