About Georgia

Qualified Primary teacher with Key Stage 1&2 experience. I have a wealth of knowledge that has proven to get my students where they need to be. I have taught all subjects within the Primary National Curriculum, Key Stages 1 and 2, across all ages and abilities. Some SEN experience including ASD and ADHD. Can provide preparation for 11+ Entrance Exams with a high pass rate of 98%. Has an enriched passion of musical theatre which is integrated into teaching where possible. I have taught Year 5 and helped my students prep for the 11+. I work for Twinkl educational website, where my hours are extremely flexible. I have the time and knowledge to work with your child to help them exceed expectations.

About the lesson

During our SEND sessions, pupils receive tailored support to help them access the curriculum, develop key skills, and build confidence in a nurturing environment. Sessions are designed around individual needs, incorporating EHCP targets where relevant, and include a mix of structured learning and multisensory activities. Focus areas may include: Literacy – phonics reinforcement, reading comprehension, handwriting, and spelling strategies. Numeracy – number recognition, basic operations, problem-solving with concrete resources. Social & Emotional Support – zones of regulation, turn-taking, emotional literacy, and confidence-building tasks. Speech & Language – vocabulary building, sentence structure, inference, and active listening games. Fine & Gross Motor Skills – pencil grip activities, scissor skills, movement breaks, and coordination games. Approaches used: Visual timetables and task boards Now/Next strategies Repetition and overlearning Small group or 1:1 support Use of sensory aids and calm spaces Praise and positive reinforcement Each session is adapted to meet the individual needs of the child, and progress is monitored regularly to ensure support remains effective and responsive.
