About Jacob
I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in the Community Engagement and Education Program. At various times throughout my college career I have wanted to teach a variety of content matter and subjects, ranging all the way k-12. I have done field work and have experience in particular working with individual or small groups of children who had fallen behind their peers in 5th grade math.

My belief is that students all have the ability to succeed in any subject, they just are often not being asked the right questions in school that lead to the "Aha" moments that spark true understanding. I do not give answers for help, I ask questions that allow students to think for themselves to come to the answer, leading to meaningful learning and self-achievement that is sure to make an impact not only on the child's grades and understanding, but to their confidence as well.
