About Angelica
My name is Angela, and I come from an immigrant family. As a result, I have had to independently navigate and teach myself many aspects of the British education system. This has helped me develop strong independent learning and revision skills.
I believe I would make a good tutor because I focus on effective revision techniques, simple and efficient essay-planning methods, and strategies for working effectively under pressure. I am also a patient and attentive listener, and I am happy to adapt my teaching style to each student’s individual needs. If a student is struggling with a topic, I am willing to take the time to explain it in a way that works for them, without rushing them.

About the lesson

As a sixth-form student, I am available to provide tutoring on weekdays from 5:00 PM, ideally finishing by 7:00 PM. Weekend and holiday sessions are also available, with times that can be discussed and arranged to suit both parties.
My tutoring rate is £15 per hour.
I achieved a Grade 8 in English Language, Grade 7s in History, Religious Studies, and English Literature, and a Grade 6 in Sociology.
