About Ziv
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 10 years of professional experience, having successfully taught around 300 students ranging from teenagers and college learners to adults. My lessons are designed to help students strengthen technical skills, develop musicality, and build confidence in performance.
My teaching philosophy combines solid technical foundations with creative musical expression, focusing on proper posture, hand coordination, finger independence, scales, arpeggios, rhythm, sight-reading, music theory, and expressive interpretation.
I encourage students to connect emotionally with the pieces they play and explore their own musical voice. Lessons are structured with technical exercises, theory, and repertoire practice, with beginners gaining confidence through foundational exercises and simple pieces, while advanced students refine performance skills and tackle complex compositions.
Many students have excelled in graded examinations and performed successfully in recitals, competitions, and public events. My mission is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and independent pianists who enjoy the journey of learning music.

Positivity is central to my approach, helping students overcome fear and perform confidently. Beyond piano performance, I teach music theory, keyboard skills, harmony, and beginner composition to enhance overall musicianship.
