About Irina
As a flute tutor with 8 years of experience and nearly 150 students trained, I focus on delivering structured and measurable results. I teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners preparing for exams or performances.
My approach begins with a clear assessment of the student’s level and goals. I then design a step-by-step plan covering tone quality, breath management, finger speed, rhythm accuracy, and repertoire building.
I strongly emphasise consistent practice and provide clear guidance on how to practise effectively at home. I monitor progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to ensure steady improvement.
My unique ability is creating a balance between discipline and encouragement. I maintain high standards while keeping lessons supportive and motivating.
Teaching flute is my passion, and I am dedicated to helping students achieve both technical excellence and musical confidence.

My flute teaching methodology balances technical precision with creative expression. I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s learning style, ensuring clarity and comfort in every lesson.
I emphasise proper breathing techniques, tone production, pitch control, articulation, and finger agility. Students practise scales, exercises, and simple melodies before progressing to complex compositions. In addition, I teach related subjects such as music notation, rhythm training, ear development, and basic harmony to provide complete musical knowledge.
Flexibility allows me to personalise lesson plans for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. Collaboration is encouraged through duet practice, musical discussions, and setting achievable milestones together. This helps students feel involved in their learning journey.
I maintain a positive atmosphere that motivates students to overcome challenges. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. My goal is to help students gain technical strength, musical understanding, and confidence while enjoying the beauty of flute playing.
