About Michael
Hi! I’m Michael, a native English speaker born and raised in London, England. I’m naturally friendly, outgoing and patient, and I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people, sharing experiences and learning about different cultures.
My professional background is in horticulture, landscaping, arboriculture and property maintenance, where I’ve spent over six years working with people from different backgrounds, communicating with clients, explaining practical solutions and building strong relationships.
Outside of work, I’m interested in nature, animals, cars, travelling, films and art. I love a good conversation and can usually find something in common with just about anyone!
I understand that speaking a new language can feel intimidating, which is why I aim to create a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes.
Although my background isn’t in traditional classroom teaching, I bring patience, creativity, enthusiasm and real-world communication experience to my lessons.
Whether you’re learning English for everyday life, travel, work or simply personal enjoyment, I’d love to help you become a more confident and natural speaker.

English
My lessons are relaxed, interactive and designed to make speaking English feel natural and enjoyable. As a native British English speaker from London, I focus on helping students build confidence through real conversations, practical activities and personalised challenges.
I believe learning should be engaging, so I incorporate games, role-playing, vocabulary challenges, storytelling and problem-solving activities into my lessons. Whether we’re practising everyday conversations, preparing for real-life situations or improving pronunciation, I adapt each session to the student’s interests, abilities and goals.
A typical lesson begins with a friendly conversation to warm up, followed by targeted speaking activities and interactive exercises. We’ll finish by reviewing new vocabulary, correcting common mistakes and celebrating progress.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced learners. I’m patient, encouraging and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning preferences.
My goal is simple: to help you speak English confidently, naturally and without fear of making mistakes, while actually enjoying the learning process.
