About Harshna
I am an avid reader and lover of books. Over the years, I have found myself inspired by many different works of literature (my current favourite is 'Things Fall Apart' by Chinua Achebe). I have come to appreciate and respect the English language; and I hope I can instil this admiration and respect within my leamers.
I am currently in my second year of my Bachelor's in Education. I have been a teacher for one and a half years, with my current grade being Grade 2.
I am passionate about teaching. My teaching goal is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to grow and develop at their own pace. I aspire to create engaging and challenging lessons that equip learners with the necessary skills for comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

My teaching style is focused on the learner. All my lessons are centred around the learners understanding and proficiency within the English language. Every lesson will be customised, depending on the needs of the learner.
My lessons cater for leaners from varying age groups and educational background. I also offer reading lessons, to help learners with reading and comprehension. Additional lessons I offer include essay writing, grammar, spelling and literature studies.
In addition, I also offer Afrikaans lessons for FAL (First Additional Language) students, in grades R-7.
