About Jennifer
I have been an educator, tutor and curriculum designer for over 15 years, and have worked with hundreds of students. Working with me, my students have gained admittance into elite high schools and universities in the US, Korea, France and Japan. ACT prep has increased students' scores by an average 6 pts. My work focuses on building writing skills, analytical thinking, and mastery of complex historical concepts. I also am fluent in French and teach reading, writing and pronunciation/conversational skills.

My teaching methodology is based on establishing a rapport with students in order to understand their unique academic needs. From there, I create an individualized learning plan that is reasonable and actionable. I give lessons to students ranging from 6-year-olds struggling to read to older adults looking to improve their English skills. My lessons are designed to scaffold skill sets; we review previous material, work through new material together, and then I check for understanding.
