About Skylar
I am a dedicated piano teacher with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My teaching approach is centered on active musical involvement and meaningful learning. I encourage students to engage deeply with music rather than just follow instructions. Each lesson focuses on developing artistic intent and personal expression.
I believe in a holistic approach that combines technique, theory, history, and creativity. Students learn not only how to play but also how to understand and feel the music.
