About Nicolas
Hi, my name is Nicolás. I've been producing music for 10 years. Throughout this journey I've produced ~300 songs (most of them as a producer for other people), and have also personally reached ~1M streams on Spotify recently (artist name is Wavesoul). I play piano, drums, and a bit of guitar.
I started producing electronic music as a hobby, when I was 12 years old. As you can imagine, most of my music at the time was pretty bad... Nevertheless I stuck with it, and song after song I started improving. In 2020 I began producing as a ghost producer, specifically making a lot of hip-hop / lofi songs (that's the niche where I found the most traction). However I developed other sounds when I took on the course "The Technology of Music Production" by Berklee on Coursera.
In 2024 I started a personal instrumental project, with the artist name "Wavesoul" -focused on Chillhop music. As of that time I've accumulated ~1M streams and have gotten featured on one Spotify editorial playlist.
This year I've started to focus on making pop music, with the hopes of releasing a few songs as a producer for other artists.

If you decide to learn with me, our lessons will be project-based. You'll learn as you produce your own projects, and I'll be your guide as you go. I'll be there to spot your mistakes and teach you the best practices. There will be short periods where you watch me do something so that you can then do it yourself. I'll also make sure I explain the "why" behind things, so you won't just "copy" or do what I tell you, you will start understanding how things work so that you develop your ear and start improving by yourself too.
Depending on your availability and spare time, I can give you a few resources so that you can also learn things on your own and then maximize our lesson time clarifying misconceptions and answering questions too.
My lessons are for you if you are a beginner or intermediate producer -working on Ableton Live or FL Studio, who feels confused about the amount of information there is out there, and would like a concise, proven way of progressing and improving their sound. I'm most suited to help you if you like making Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Electronic music, Lofi music, Chillhop.
