About Julie

I have been teaching Violin and Viola for over 10 years, 8 of those years in a school/tertiary environment. I have qualifications with AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity up to Advanced Diploma in Performance levels.
My students have successfully auditioned for places in University and Music Colleges, and have been extremely successful at Eisteddfods and Music Competitions.

About the lesson

String instruments are not easy instruments to learn. However, with a good teacher and some dedication, they can become a beautiful way to express yourself. My teaching method relies on a holistic approach to the student and encompasses theory, musicality, fun and serious pieces.

Julie was able to help my sons improve in a very short period of time. They had great fun in her classes and always looked forward to their lesson each week. Could not recommend her highly enough.
