About Alex
I am a Ph.D. student in mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University. I did my undergraduate in mathematics and statistics, and took many computer science classes. Throughout my undergraduate I tutored, and TA classes in all 3 subjects. At Penn State I have taught three linear algebra classes.

My teaching/tutoring method is dependent on the students academic goals. If the student needs a new look at the material from a class I will present a conversation style lecture on the material. I will go over why the material makes sense, and motivate it with real world problems. If the student would rather work through practice problems to better understand the material I will help them problem solve.
I will tutor any math or stats class with level ranging from middle school to university.
