I am currently on a gap year after completing my alevels in Chemistry, Biology and Psychology, and have tutored science for students in year 8 and 9, as well as literacy and numeracy for students in year 4 and 5.

I try to figure out in what way the student learns, whether it’s visually, auditory, verbally etc, and try to cater to their needs, as well as giving frequent mini quizzes in order to see how much they’ve learned from previous classes as well as to ensure all the information is stored in their long term memory. I know especially right now that students are having it very hard, as I was also in that position a few months ago, but I will always be there for them if they have any questions, even outside tutoring hours, for extra support to make sure they keep up to speed and are understanding all of their content.
