About Pauline

Hello, My name is Pauline, and am currently a student in Master 2 (5th year) at Sciences Po I hold a European literary baccalaureate and I also went through a preparatory literary class (Hypokhâgne). I am available to give courses in English, French, Literature, Philosophy, History-Geography, Spanish. I am also available to prepare for the Sciences Po competition with methods adapted to the different exams. About my experience, I have always enjoyed helping my comrades in difficulty and I have already given more than 500 hours of support in French, English, Philosophy, Latin and History-Geography to many high school students, college and university students higher. Here are some important points regarding my method: - First, check that the basics are learned and understood by the student. - Take back the points of the course little or not understood by the student and the deepening of the course in order to add concrete examples to a course sometimes perceived as too theoretical. - Help with homework, preparation for homework as well as homework. - Exercises adapted to the level of the student in all areas (oral, written). My ultimate goal is for the student to gain confidence in himself and his abilities and to succeed in the path he has decided to integrate! About the lesson

First of all, a strong concentration on help with duty in order to check that there are no errors in the courses that have been taken by the student and that he has understood the concepts and grammar rules. Then, it is also to transmit the love of the language and to make it practice through documents for their age on the domains which interest them: sport, nature, culture ... In English, my courses can adapt at the level of each one. Classes between English / French, or only English are offered. It is necessary, in my view, to return to the grammatical bases which are often poorly acquired and which are problematic for a large number of students in higher education. Next, my goal is to work on newspaper articles, excerpts of text, or even audio recordings or videos in accordance with each student's program to work on listening comprehension and reading comprehension.
