About Ikshu

My name is Ikshu and I am currently studying at the Tiffin Girls' School. I would love to start teaching in order to help kids fall in love with English and to help them do exceptionally well in their 11 plus exams. I want to reintroduce creative thinking through English tutoring, and to develop literacy skills in children, which will then be applied to the reading comprehension section of the exam.

About the lesson

I have previously tutored multiple students preparing for the 11 plus in English, and have developed their reading comprehension and creative writing skills through worked through questions during the sessions. I love working with kids and am very flexible timings-wise. English has always interested me and I received 9s in Eng Lang and Lit during tests given prior to GCSEs.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Ikshu.

Ikshu is a superb tutor. She tutored my little brother for his 11+ exams for a year, and I really saw his progress skyrocket after just a few sessions with her. His English skills progressed quickly, and he started to achieve much higher scores on his tests. I highly recommend her as an 11+ tutor as she is diligent, hardworking, and proactive during lessons. I no longer need to sit in during lessons like I had to with other tutors. She is truly a one-of-a-kind tutor. 10/10

Met Ikshu at St. John Ambulance, and she tutored my little sister in math and helped prepare her for the 11+. Ikshu was extremely supportive and helped with each topic my little sister didn’t understand. Highly recommended Ikshu!
