About Lubna

I am a native Arabic speaker, a passionate writer, and a veteran educator from Syria. For the past 17 years, I have dedicated my career to teaching the Arabic language, guiding students through the rigorous Syrian education system, and preparing them for the highly competitive national 9th and 12th-grade exams.

Throughout my time in the classroom, I developed a deep love not just for teaching, but for decoding the intricacies of our language. I have always believed that Arabic, often viewed as heavily academic and complex, is actually a beautiful, highly expressive art form.

As someone with a strong personal talent for creative writing and advanced grammar, my greatest joy is taking a language rich in history and helping a student unlock its creative potential.

About the lesson

Whether your goal is to master Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha), converse naturally in the Syrian (Levantine) dialect, or elevate your creative writing, my lessons are designed to move you past the overwhelm and into real-world fluency.

Mastering Arabic isn't about memorizing endless vocabulary lists or struggling through dense textbooks. Instead, we focus on how the language is built. By applying the highly structured approach I’ve used for 17 years to prepare students for rigorous national exams, I tailor every lesson to guarantee measurable, steady progress without the burnout.

The "Building-Block" Method
Our sessions prioritize clear understanding, practical application, and student comfort over rigid drilling:
Complex Grammar, Simplified: I specialize in stripping away the intimidation of Arabic grammar. We break complex linguistic rules down into simple, relatable "building blocks," turning the hardest topics into easy wins.

The Bilingual Bridge: I use comfortable, conversational English to clearly explain nuanced cultural and linguistic differences, ensuring you are never left guessing or lost in translation.

Dynamic Pacing: Your energy levels matter. If you are having a long day, we can pivot to light, natural conversation in the Syrian dialect. If you are feeling energetic, we will dive deep into complex grammar or creative writing.

From Basics to Beauty: We don't just focus on rigid rules. We work on crafting expressive Arabic, helping you transition from basic communication to authentic, beautiful speech and writing.

Every lesson provides a curated, supportive environment focused entirely on your specific goals, whether that means passing a university exam, reconnecting with family, or speaking confidently in the real world.

Honestly, Lubna is the reason I got a full 600/600 on my 12th-grade Syrian Baccalaureate Arabic exam. Before taking her class, I was worried about the grammar and essay sections, but she completely changed my approach. Instead of making us memorize endless rules, she actually explains things so they make sense intuitively. Her grammar explanations are super clear, and she helped me improve my creative writing a ton. If you’re preparing for exams or just want to actually understand Arabic, you can’t get a better teacher than her
