About Lena
I have spent 14 years helping students develop their flute-playing skills while building confidence and discipline through music. I teach school and college students in a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone feels comfortable learning.
My lessons begin with strong fundamentals such as breathing, posture, finger placement, and rhythm before moving toward expressive playing and advanced techniques. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet individual needs.
I take pride in seeing students perform successfully and enjoy their musical journey. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and sight reading. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music and continue learning throughout their lives.

My teaching methodology focuses on helping students become confident flute players through positive learning experiences. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to guide every lesson.
Students first build a strong foundation with breathing, posture, tone production, rhythm, note reading, and finger exercises. As they progress, they develop articulation, scales, improvisation, musical expression, and performance techniques.
I motivate students through positive reinforcement and achievable goals. Communication remains open and supportive, making difficult concepts easier to understand. Integrity ensures fairness, honesty, patience, and professionalism in every lesson.
Creative learning includes ear training, rhythm games, familiar melodies, improvisation, listening activities, and ensemble practice. Besides flute, I teach music theory, recorder, keyboard basics, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation.
