About Maxime
Holder of several degrees in English language as well as in teaching and education, I enjoy sharing my skills and my interest in learning languages and cultures. My teaching method is intimately linked to the current learning pedagogies of Education Nationale: respect of official programs, action-oriented approach in learning (i.e. giving the student the chance to learn concretely , with a goal and a mission, and thus to give meaning to the teaching of the language itself), concrete and varied evaluations. It is about establishing a relationship of benevolence and patience between the student and his teacher and going beyond learning "by heart". It is critical to take the time to do things right and to understand the cultural, phonetic and grammatical issues of the language. I also attach great importance to the choice of my learning materials: modern, interesting and authentic videos, texts and audio clips, to encourage student involvement.
