About DANIELA

Graduated from the University of Edinburgh and Cambridge CELTA certified, I have worked in language schools both in Italy and Scotland, gaining experience in courses for companies, schools, individuals, and families. I teach English to students of all ages and from all continents. What they all have in common is the need to learn a language that will give them a better career, admission to a high-level university, or simply the ability to communicate confidently with people in every corner of the world.

About the lesson

I have only one rule: the student is always the center of my lessons.

To date, English is the most important tool for acquiring knowledge, communicating one's ideas, and ensuring a successful future. I am against teaching the traditional way, with English as the end in itself.

This is why I believe that the English teacher must be flexible, versatile, and at the service of the objectives of her students. My lessons are based on the real needs, interests, and personal learning methods of each individual who enters my class.

If you are looking to fill in pages of exercises from a book and passively listen to long grammar explanations, I am sorry: you are in the wrong place. If you are not afraid of getting involved, if you want to have real conversations from the very first lesson, and learn what will truly make you able to communicate effectively in any situation, you have found the teacher you were looking for.

I met Daniela last summer, in Edinburgh, where I was attending a general course of English.
She was my 'personal trainer', helping me to revise grammar rules, enrich my vocabulary, and train in writing and coversation (both with a formal and an informal style). In particular, she focused on examples of coversation usueful for the office.
Daniela is professional, patient and clear during her lectures, and always kind and friendly. She loves her work and put any efforts in supporting you to achieve your goals.
