In 2017, I worked in Eastern Europe as an English teacher/trainer for an establishment that catered for children age 7-16. This consisted of preparing engaging & fun lesson plans and delivering them in an exciting, yet educational manner.

My classes were usually between 10 and 22 students. However, some students needed additional support on a 1-1 basis during class, whilst the rest of the children were engaged in an independent activity.

About the lesson

I am extremely passionate about the English language, and love helping others learn, grow and develop in the subject.
I believe learning should be fun, engaging and interactive to achieve the best possible results.

I ensure my lessons are varied and exciting, whilst incorporating structured techniques that corresponds with the needs and abilities of the student. My lessons are adapted to meet that of the student, ensuring lesson time in utilised effectively.

YOUNG LEARNERS AND SCHOOL CHILDREN

I offer English lessons to children from 7 years old, up to GCSE level. Whether they have exams coming up, or just need a little extra help on their journey of education, I can help in ameliorating their academic English skills.

Possessing the ability to connect with children quickly and effectively, I collaborate with the parents, to ensure the students enjoy an excellent learning experience, giving them the confidence to conquer anything the dictionary may throw at them, alongside been fully equipped to fight off those misplaced cocky commas.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

TEFL certified, I offer lessons to students of whom English may not be their first language, from beginner, all the way to advanced level.

Prior to the first lessons, I encourage students to spend 15 minutes or so speaking to myself, either via video chat or on the telephone. This will enable me to identify an approximate level you at which you are at and discuss any specific areas you would like to concentrate on, learning background and your goals, as well as any questions or concerns you may have.

In addition, I offer proof reading services and help with CV’s and cover letters. Occupying a strong understanding of the job market, I can assist you in your search for employment or work placement. Prices for this available upon request.

***If you have 3 lessons or more with myself, I will look at either your CV and cover letter and identify areas for improvement, free of charge***

***If you have more than 6 lessons with myself, I will completely redo or create a CV and cover for you***
