About Chad
I am a TEFL teacher employed in Hong Kong who is unfortunately stuck in Cape Town due to the lockdown. I have a Ba(Law) and postgraduate LLB degree from Stellenbosch University as well as a 156 hour TEFL certificate.
I tutored criminal law 171 classes for 2 years at Stellenbosch University where I taught in both English and Afrikaans. Once I graduated I spent the next 4 years practicing as an attorney, but have recently discovered that teaching is my true passion.

My teaching methodology changes depending on the needs of the students I'm teaching. If the student becomes distracted easily a very formative approach is adopted with ample short breaks to retain attention. Where the student has a dislike for the subject I try my best to make it relevant to the student so that he/she finds it both fun and easy to learn.
