About Gracia
I am a Forensics student with a 120 hour TEFL certification. I have been teaching English online for two years with various clients from Korea, Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Japan. I teach both children and adults and the results of these lessons show in effective communication ( verbal and written) and progress from tests.

My teaching method is dependent on the need of the client, example vocabulary. Exercises will be given and practiced according to the need. I believe that practical exercises are very important in order to retain what was learned. Example, practicing word recognition by listening to words being called out aloud, identifying grammar rules in a paragraph etc. With adults, topics like Economics are useful since they can relate it to their jobs, and it is often easier to speak about something you understand.I often encourage clients to monitor their progress regularly. With children, color and pictures make learning fun. A great deal of creativity must be put into these lesson so that children are able to focus and extend their knowledge about things in English. Example, an English grammar lesson based on the fairy tale Jack and The Beanstalk or a reading lesson about Ancient Egypt.
