Hello! My name is Bulelwa, and I am a third-year B.Ed Foundation Phase teacher intern with a passion for helping young learners reach their full potential. I have always enjoyed working with children and believe that every learner deserves patience, encouragement, and support to succeed. I am passionate about teaching English because strong language skills build confidence and open doors to future opportunities. My goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. I’m a third-year B.Ed Foundation Phase teacher intern passionate about helping young learners grow in English. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs to build confidence and improve skills.
My approach: I use a learner-centred, interactive approach with games, visuals, stories, and practical activities to make English enjoyable and meaningful. I adapt lessons to suit each child’s pace and learning style.
Languages: I am proficient in English and Afrikaans, and I am able to teach in both languages.
What to expect: Lessons are fun, focused, and encouraging. Students can expect clear explanations, regular practice, helpful feedback, and patience every step of the way.
Who I teach: My lessons are aimed at Foundation Phase learners (Grades R–3 / ages 5–9) who need support with reading, writing, vocabulary, phonics, and comprehension.
