I have known I wanted to teach since 9th grade. I love working with kids. Between teaching and doing schoolwork, I like to play soccer, kayak, hike, read, or paint. I also love spending time with my dog Zoey!

I teach because I want to make a difference in students’ lives. I want to help them develop skills to become lifelong learners and enjoy learning. I want to help students strengthen their self-efficacy in English language and help them become more engaged and enjoy learning Science, therefore, increasing their confidence in, and the enjoyment in both of these fields.
