About Donna
As a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music, specializing in flute, I have taught private and group lessons for over 20 years. I have also performed solo and with numerous groups throughout my career including the Rapides Symphony Orchestra and The Louisiana College Wind Ensemble. My students have gone on to lead music organizations, join symphonic orchestras and graduate with degrees in music.

During our online lessons, along with finger placement for technical fluency, I will teach you how to develop your embouchure to attain a beautiful tone quality and breathing techniques to develop your wind. If you are a beginner I will teach you how to read music and how that relates to the finger positions on your flute. I will assign practice lessons based on your level and give encouragement to inspire your learning.
