I am Manmeet and I have been an English teacher and a dorm parent for more than 10 years. I enjoy teaching because I think I get to learn from my students as they do from me. I use explicit teaching strategy in my approach, ensuring concepts are modelled, guided and consistently practiced. I focus on two-way communication where students inquire and clarify and teachers ask contextual questions to prompt and illicit response to build meaningful learning. I use visual aids, connect learning to real life examples to avoid cognitive overload and make learning accessible.
