About Sridevi

I am a US-trained and qualified ESL teacher from India. For the past 13 years, I have been teaching English as a Second and Foreign Language to adults and children from different nationalities, linguistic and academic backgrounds, and goals in life.

About the lesson

I largely employ the Communicative Language Teaching method, which I learnt in the United States. My focus is on enabling my students to speak English contextually through the simulation of real-life scenarios. My classes combine the use of grammar with conversation through engaging activities, icebreakers, quizzes, roleplays, and board games.Additionally, I also use the Total Physical Response methodology to teach vocabulary and concepts to Basic learners.

She is kind and sensitive to my needs. Also,she makes it a point to motivate me and keep me engaged through her activities and interactive games. I have been taking one to one classes with her since Jan. In all these classes, she has beautifully integrated my personal and professional background, needs, preferences and social environment with the conversation classes she has provided.
