About Bonnie
I am an SSO (student support officer) and I am currently undertaking a Master of Teaching (Primary) degree at university. I love helping students to achieve and enjoy watching them succeed, regardless of what they are aiming for. I understand as well that some subjects are not easy for students and would like to help make it a more enjoyable experience. Learning difficulties are part of my speciality, having been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD myself, so I am very aware of the impact that difficulties including dyslexia and dyscalculia can have on a students ability to understand and implement strategies to help them.

I have experience working as an SSO in a local primary school in Adelaide, I worked as a swimming instructor/coach for 16 years, and I have been playing the piano since I was in year 1, and have taught a few students. I like helping students, so I am very patient and understanding and will take the time necessary to make sure you know how to do something and why it is done that way. A lesson would typically go for an hour for academic subjects, adult swimming lessons and adult piano lessons, and half an hour for children's swimming or piano lessons (unless otherwise negotiated). Swimming lessons and piano lessons are for all ages, and academically, I excel in primary year levels but am willing to help high school students as well.
