About Solina

An experienced tutor in Mathematics for high school students. I am currently a Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) student at UniSA. Completed the SACE Stage 2 subjects of Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry and Research Project B. Achieved a 97.00 ATAR and awarded Dux for Accounting. Was College Captain of my school and a peer tutor for junior high school students during my senior years of high school.

I was tutored during my schooling years and know the significance it had on my academic performance and mindset. It put my mind at ease knowing that there was someone I could turn to outside of school who would walk me through things I struggled to understand. Hence why I aim to help current primary and high school students with their studies, in hopes that they can feel the same regardless of their learning abilities.

About the lesson

My lessons for Mathematics are geared for students studying in high school (Year 7-11). Lessons will occur weekly and are 2 hours long. I structure lessons to suit each specific student. I start off by addressing any immediate questions or concerns the student is experiencing with the topic from what is taught at school. Therefore, lessons may have a different structure every time, as it depends on what the student needs help with completing (eg. a test or assignment).
