About Sofia
Having just navigated the rigour of A-levels and university applications, I have experienced firsthand how challenging the process can be, especially without guidance from teachers at school. I aim to help students break down the content and structure of A-level English and Psychology courses, and then working through each session with a focus on balancing content learning and exam technique. I am keen to offer help with UCAS applications, having secured 5/5 offers for English Literature from the University of Cambridge, UCL, Durham University, the University of St Andrews, and the University of Edinburgh.

I aim to provide a learning environment that is enriching, comfortable, and interactive, ensuring my students feel fully engaged in the lesson and play as big a part as I do in their understanding. I provide tutoring for English language and literature at a level up to A-level, with a specific focus on exam technique for GCSE and A-level year groups. I also offer tutoring for AQA A-level Psychology. As well as A-levels and GCSE, I am keen to offer help with UCAS applications, particularly for students aiming for Oxbridge, having gone through the application process myself last year and obtaining 5/5 offers.
