About Oscar
I am a passionate educator with experience teaching at the University of Cambridge, as well as through private and non-profit enterprises such as Ivy Tutoring and Refunet. My approach to teaching is based on identifying and exploring areas of genuine interest and ability, creating healthy and sustainable study habits while teaching directly to academic, personal, or group goals.

I utilise tried and tested teaching methodologies including custom spaced repetition systems, unseen and interactive translation, and structured learning cycles. I have taught modules and seminars at the University of Cambridge for four years, and have worked as a private tutor to international students for over seven years. Lessons are typically one hour, and lesson prices include the preparation of learning materials. I have experience tutoring from ages 8 to 60, at all levels of language or writing ability. I also have extensive experience working with students whose mother tongue is not English.
