About Amy
I am a bilingual English Literature undergraduate who will be studying at UCL with a sincere passion for languages and the humanities. I have experience tutoring others not only in GCSE and A level English but those whose first language is not English. In addition, I have gained a lot of satisfaction from helping other students through university applications.

Successful teaching is about being able to cater to student's individual needs. whether your goal is to prepare for exams or to improve your language skills, my method focuses on holistic approaches to allow you to feel more confident in your own abilities. Being successful at GCSE and A Level requires the ability to produce a cogent argument and to show that you can think critically. With this in mind, whilst each session will have a clear end goal my highest priority will always be to remain aware of the student's changing needs and to tailor teaching accordingly.
Further, as a Greek who has mastered the English language, I am distinctly aware of the obstacles new and ongoing learners typically face and I pride myself in employing creative methods to help students overcome them rather than sticking to a typical textbook repetition based approach.
