About Mikayla
I am a third year law student at Carleton University, and have worked as a peer mentor and have tutored in the past, specifically in English and Literacy. I am passionate about writing, and have won awards for creative and essay writing, thus they are fields I am well versed in! I love to teach as well, and love helping students in this particular area of study!

I am mostly looking to work with elementary or high school students who are need of help with essay writing, poetry writing, creative writing, or test taking strategies (which can be applied past just the realm of English and Literacy. I am flexible in teaching style, and am willing to work with students in whichever ways are most conducive to their learning, whether that be working to outline a thesis and arguments, helping prepare useful study notes/flashcards, editing, or any other methods of study the students might need help with.
