About Micah
I am a student currently studying social anthropology, which requires me to have a high level of reading and writing skills. I thoroughly enjoy writing and am interested in going into a career which involves written and spoken media production. I am also passionate about teaching and believe that teaching is also the best way to learn. I am always looking for new ways to learn and explain concepts as well as new ways to share knowledge, which is why I thoroughly enjoy tutoring.

My teaching methodology involves firstly mapping out the student strengths and weaknesses and breaking down what is required of the student in various given tasks. I focus a lot on encouragement and seeking to focus on the strengths a student has, allowing them to feel capable before going into improving on the weaknesses. I am happy to assist in understanding difficult concepts and I am passionate about helping my students to creatively express themselves with confidence. I am interested in helping people to explore their own writing styles as well as trying to find writers and artists which may inspire the students, based on their specific writing styles and that of a specific writer.
