About Maddison
I have recently graduated from univeristy with a Bachelor of Commerce and have taken up a full-time position with a local accounting firm. I have 12+ years experience playing piano in which I have completed up to my Grade 7 examinations. I am not very experienced with teaching, other than occasionally assisting my sister with her lessons over the years. However, I believe that my passion for music will make any lesson enjoyable and beneficial for any student!

During my first lesson with a student, my approach is to get to know them, what teaching style they learn best from and what their skill level currently is. Following this initial consult, I will then tailor my music lessons to the student's needs. A typical lesson would consist of 15 minutes of scale work and/or sight-reading followed by 20 minutes of learning and running through selected piano pieces.
