I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington. I carry a bachelor's degree in History and International Studies along with multiple professional healthcare certifications. I am passionate about student-centered education, the social sciences, and genuine academic rigor. My goals are to increase students' confidence, critical thinking, and academic success.

Using a strengths-based and student-centered approach, I build students' confidence in core subject areas. Typically this looks like identifying growth edges relevant to the student's goals, introducing and explaining the concept, practicing using the skill in different contexts, and supplying opportunities for further learning in between lessons. My experience in multiple professional fields (education, healthcare, community care) gives me a unique tutoring style informed by empathy and practical application. I have wide experience and can tutor students who need extra support in any subject area through US grade 8. Beyond this level, I am able to assist high school and undergraduate students with academic research and writing, History, and English.
