About Alexandra

I am a recent graduate from Mountview drama school and I have been teaching part time for the past 7 years. I have a passion for teaching music and drama and especially enjoy working with children. I am looking forward to getting to know you!

About the lesson

I am an experienced, enthusiastic teacher of piano, violin, singing and LAMDA (acting + musical theatre). I have been teaching privately for the past 7 years and have plenty of experience in preparing students for ABRSM/Rockschool/LAMDA exams and also offer lessons just for fun too.

I have experience teaching students as young as 4 years old all the way up to adult. I especially work well with children as I understand they may require more patience and encouragement compared to older students which I always incorporate into lessons. My philosophy is to balance the lessons so the students are having fun but also making good progress.

I recommend students book 30 minutes initially and see how they get on with me. If you would like to extend the lesson length, I can also offer 45 minute or 60 minute lessons.

30 minutes = £26 (+ travel, price depends on distance)
45 minutes = £38 (+ travel, price depends on distance)
60 minutes = £50 (+ travel, price depends on distance)

I look forward to meeting you soon! Please get in touch if you have any questions. :)

Alexandra is a fantastic teacher. She has been teaching my son piano for years and he loves his lessons. He’s now approaching grade 6 and Alexandra is brilliant at encouraging him and keeping lessons fun as-well as preparing him for the more testing music. I would highly recommend Alexandra.

Her patience is unmatchable and she encourages and helps the right amount so you feel the success when you accomplish the goal. She’s highly committed to everything she does and no challenge is too much — tell her it’s not possible and she’ll find a way to make it possible!!
