About Katie
I have been supporting people for over seven years. The type of clients I work with have a range of highly complex issues, addiction, depression, anxiety, loss, homelessness, relationships, self-esteem. I work closely with people to offer a therapeutic intervention. You may not have any identified issues but you just need some support in the right direction and I am here to help or you may have lots going on and we can work together to help solve that! My experience means I can help sign post and refer you to appropriate services, create realistic goals and help improve your life. I have worked in human rights advocacy so I have a firm understanding of relevant legislation and can make sure you are aware of your rights.

I would always start with an assessment of your needs and work around that, using a person-centered approach means that you are at the center of our plan to support you. Once I have gathered enough information we would then decide what approach would be best for you. It may be a short term plan with lots of structured goals or it may be longer term with a focus on the counselling aspect of the lessons.
