About Beth
As a high school teacher and a student (doctorate) I know how learning can cause frustration. I work with my students to define the specific learning tasks causing the most frustration using soft skills, which I also teach them, and then work step by step to help them not just learn the material but build confidence in their own abilities. My ultimate aim is to equip your student with the skills and confidence to not just meet his/her immediate goals but also to become an independent and lifelong learner.

My approach to learning is student-centered with interactive engagement. I will always begin with what the student's goals are and the areas the student wants to focus on.The lessons will be tailored to the student's needs. I focus on Grades 8-12 with English needs in reading, writing (of all types) and literature. However, if your student isn't in this grouping, feel free to reach out, because I may still be able to help!

She is a trustworthy teacher because she not only dedicates her time and effort into making sure she provides content in a way those in her audience can understand but she creates an atmosphere that feels safe to her students. Ms. Ali does a phenomenal job of getting to know her students by positively highlighting their strengths and helping them better understand their weaknesses. Absolutely phenomenal instructor.
